Our resources include our repeaters, trailers, radio equipment, and Amateur Radio Operators.

By far, our most important resource is our people - Amateur Radio Operators, and their equipment. Before qualifying to aid in emergency operations, Amateur Radio Operators must study for and pass a Federal Communications Commission test in order to be issued an Amateur Radio License. Once they are issued a licence, most Amateur Radio Operators purchase Amateur Radio Transceivers, others may build radios from scratch or modify commercial equipment to work within the amateur frequencies.

Most Amateur Radio Operators share a common trait. Whether they are active in the hobby of amateur radio or not, when an emergency situation arises, they will put their experience and equipment in use to provide communications as long as necessary to help ensure the public safety.
